What is a 'natural' appearance?
Facial ageing is determined by a range of factors, predominantly sun exposure, smoking, muscle activity and the genes you inherited. As we get older, skin loses its elasticity, folds develop and wrinkles form as a result.

How is treatment carried out?
An experienced injector uses a highly purified protein from a toxic bacterium. This substance is injected in the target area where it temporarily relaxes the muscles causing 'unnatural' appearance. Offending facial wrinkles most often appear in the upper face - and re better known as crow's feet, forehead furrows and sagging brows.
Treatment takes effect three to ten days following injection. Improvement generally lasts three to six months, before gradually fading as muscle action returns.
Anti-wrinkle injections are not for everyone, as not all facial wrinkles will benefit from the injections. Your skin type, skin thickness and degree of wrinkling are all important factors in determining whether anti-wrinkle injections are for you or not.
